I was born in Tupelo in 1950. The first house I remember was a house on Berry Street. I loved that house with my parents, two brothers, and two sisters. When I was about five years old, I saw a small house down on what’s now Elvis Presley Drive, and I would visit with the people who lived there. Later, I found out Elvis was born in that house. Now, I can sit in this house (Birthplace) where Elvis was born and tell his story.
